Low County Aid to Africa’s “2012 Evening of Entertainment” was a tremendous success and netted $8,000 in January for its non-profit partners in those parts of Africa with ties to South Carolina. Of that amount, $5,000 will go to Ikamva Labantu (http://ikamva.org.za/) which provides foster parents to child-headed households in South Africa. Since its inception, this ecumenical partnership has generated more than nearly $100,000 for initiatives addressing social and health concerns.
