Families Helping Families
is a partnership bringing together the generosity
of local families, churches, businesses and community
groups to help area families in need. In December, more than
2,400 South Carolina families were assisted with gifts,
food, clothing, and other seasonal needs by more than
3,000 donors, sponsor organizations and individuals across
the state.
All families
participating in this program are qualified for assistance
from and represented by established social service
agencies in both the Low Country and the Midlands.
By
coordinating with local agencies and charity programs we can
insure that donations and charitable giving are targeted to
those who need help the most. Every dollar donated to FHF
generates nearly $9 in goods and services for Palmetto State
families in need.

There
are three different ways you can help:
1.
Sponsor A Family.
Family Sponsors are paired with the sized and number of
families they wish to adopt and provided with a gift wish
list. Gifts are collected and dropped off at the Families
Helping Families distribution center. From there, we'll
get them to the families in need.
2.
Make A Donation.
Financial contributions to the program are essential in
order to ensure that all our applicant families receive
gifts. Families Helping Families operates under the 501(c)(3)
status of the Palmetto Project and all donations are tax-deductible.
3.
Become A Corporate Sponsor.
Corporate partners help to underwrite our costs and have
the opportunity to market their affiliation with this
well-known holiday program.
